It took a year to read the Bible, then almost 9 months to read the Apocrypha. Now, I'm going to try to offer reflections on the Narrative Lectionary. But, I won't be posting daily--at least, for a while.

Call for Sermons

GBOD of the UMC has issued this call for sermons:

The 2008 Presidential election was a living object lesson on several topics -- including that of racial reconciliation. What did you preach about on the Sunday after the Presidential Election? As preparation for Human Relations Day in January, Safiyah Fosua would like to post excerpts of your helpful sermons. If you have a sermon or meditation that you would like to have considered for this web page, send your sermon as an attached file to preaching@gbod.org before December 19, 2008.
