Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.

Prayer for Today: God, you have spoken through your prophets in many times and many ways. You have spoken to us through your Son, the light of your glory and the imprint of your being. Open us to his powerful message of peace, good news, and salvation. Open our hearts to sing out this message with words and with deeds so that all the ends of the earth will see your work Amen.

Deal bountifully with your servant,
so that I may live and observe your word.
Open my eyes, so that I may behold
wondrous things out of your law.

You rebuke the insolent, accursed ones,
who wander from your commandments;
