It took a year to read the Bible, then almost 9 months to read the Apocrypha. Now, I'm going to try to offer reflections on the Narrative Lectionary. But, I won't be posting daily--at least, for a while.

Aldersgate Day

Methodists remember May 24 as the day that Wesley felt his heart strangely warmed. The UMBOW reminds us that he read or heard that day these scriptures: 2 Peter 1:4 and Mark 12:28-34a.
