It took a year to read the Bible, then almost 9 months to read the Apocrypha. Now, I'm going to try to offer reflections on the Narrative Lectionary. But, I won't be posting daily--at least, for a while.

Lectio Divina, May 30, 2008

Everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock (Matt 7:26).

Into your hand I commit my spirit;
you have redeemed me,
O Lord, faithful God (Ps 31:5).
